Get Involved
Become a Member
Membership fees help support student programs at LMS, and are one of the primary ways we provide sustaining support. Members are the heartbeat of the boosters, and one of the best ways you can make a meaningful difference in your student's school. Become a member by visiting our sign-up form.
Volunteer Your Time
The LMS Boosters depend on volunteers for everything from concessions to book fairs to chaperoning events. There's something for everyone! Check out our current volunteer opportunities below. Students are welcome to volunteer alongside their parents.
Donate to the Boosters
We are always accepting monetary donations via the following methods: cash, checks made out to LMS Boosters, or through our Venmo account (@LMSBoosters). During fall and winter sports seasons, we also accept donations for our concessions booth, including: snack-sized chip bags, large bags of tortilla chips for nachos, popcorn kernels, full-sized candy bars, bottled water, and fruit snacks.

We are excited to get our fall sports concessions started! Please sign up for one (or many!) time slots throughout the season to help out! Whether you have helped in the past or not, it's easy! We have an easy breakdown of insturctions and coordinators are always either on site or a quick call/text away! Grab a friend or bring your children to help you (we do need at least one adult at each time slot). Reach out to Hillary Lovinger (216) 224-5951 with questions!

Twice a month, the LMS ASB program hosts the Spartan Store. Students use in building currency (Spartan Bucks) to purchase small items, school merchandise, and treats. Students can also purchase popcorn, which requires an adult to supervise the popping of the popcorn. Sign up for a slot that corresponds with a Spartan Store date to help pop popcorn and supervise the store. We will teach you how to use the popcorn machine. Student store dates for the 2025-2026 school year are as follows: 10/3, 10/17, 11/7, 11/21, 12/12, 1/23, 2/6, 2/20, 3/6, 3/20, 4/3, 4/24, 5/8, 5/22.

Once a month, the Boosters provides treats for the staff at LMS. This day can follow a fun theme, or be a simple outreach of snacks and appreciation. Team up with a friend, or set up a sign-up for other parents to help out!
The Boosters have a reserve of items to set up these days (tablecloths and decorations, utensils, containers for setup) and can reimburse some money for the outreach. Full details on how these days work can be found at this link.

During the twice-yearly Scholastic book fair, the LMS Boosters assist with setting up, taking down, and staffing the book fair (cashiering). The winter book fair is typically held during the first week of December, and the spring book fair is held the week before Spring Break (typically the first week of April). A sign-up genius link will be added to this space when we have confirmed dates for the school year book fairs. Cashiering the book fair is straightforward, short shift, and a great way to relive the joy and magic of the Scholastic book fair as an adult.

There are a variety of movie nights, student dances, and field days throughout the school year at LMS. As dates become solidified for these events, we will post a sign-up genius to this space. Typically, supervision involves monitoring a gym or common space for student safety and respectful participation in the event. Chaperoning is a fun way to experience the infectious enthusiasm of middle schoolers at play!
